Product Overview
The Avantree HAX06 – HDMI ARC Audio Extractor with Passthrough for TV is a Digital-Analog Converters product. It features 【add audio outputs to hdmi arc-only tvs】hax06 extracts audio from.
Key Features
- 【Add Audio Outputs to HDMI ARC-Only TVs】HAX06 extracts audio from your TV’s HDMI ARC port and outputs to Optical or RCA — perfect for TVs without standard audio-out ports. If your TV has eARC, simply turn it off eARC in settings to enable ARC mode.
- 【Use HDMI Soundbar and RCA/Optical Devices Together】Want to keep your HDMI ARC soundbar but also connect wireless headphones or hearing aids? Enable Bypass Mode to use both at the same time — just connect a Bluetooth transmitter (not included) to the Optical or RCA output.
- 【Not for HDMI Sources or Non-ARC Outputs】HAX06 works only with the HDMI ARC port on your TV. It cannot receive audio from streaming devices (e.g. Apple TV, Roku, game consoles), and its HDMI OUT is designed for HDMI ARC soundbars only — not for monitors or projectors.
- 【Control Your Soundbar with the TV Remote】If both your TV and soundbar support HDMI-CEC, you can adjust volume using your TV remote. (CEC works over HDMI only — not supported on Optical or RCA connections.)
- 【Preserves 5.1 Surround Sound for HDMI Soundbars】When you're not using the Optical or RCA outputs, HAX06 passes through full 5.1 surround sound to your HDMI ARC soundbar — no need to switch to PCM, as long as your TV and soundbar support it.
